Win The Day # 5 – Faith in the Little Things: Seeing God in Everyday Moments

I used to think that faith had to be bold, loud, and life-changing in obvious ways—like moving mountains or walking through fire. But lately, I’m learning that faith often shows up in quieter places: in the in-between moments, the small wins, the deep breaths when no one’s watching.

It’s the unexpected smile from a stranger when you’ve had a hard morning.
It’s the warmth of sunlight coming through the kitchen window while you’re washing dishes.
It’s a verse you’ve read a hundred times that suddenly hits different when you need it most.

I’m starting to realize that these aren’t coincidences. They’re reminders—whispers from God that He’s here, He sees, and He cares about the little things, too.

Jesus said in Matthew 6:26, “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.” If He cares for the birds, how much more does He care for you and me?

Maybe faith doesn’t always look like parting seas. Maybe today, it’s choosing to believe that God is in your routine commute, your messy living room, or that silent moment where you whisper, “Help.”

Faith in the little things is still faith. And sometimes, those little things? They’re not so little after all.
